Happy Belated Halloween!!

I am so sorry that I have been so late in posting. We have had a very busy October. For Halloween this year, we had a big party planned. We invited our friends over to trick or treat, we cooked three crock pots of chili and... Walker got strep throat! So with a dose of antibiotics and a bottle of hand sanitizer, Walker gave out candy instead of trick-or-treating this year. He LOVED it! He wanted to give all of the kids hands full of lolli-pops and he said "not one lolli-pop, mommy. Dey want two lolli-pops!"

Walker greets his new "friends" at the door.

"Happy Halloween!"

After a couple of hours, Walker decided that it was more efficient to sit on our porch in his lawn chair and hand out candy.
Waiting for the Halloween Kids.

When Trick-or-treat traffic slowed down, Walker decided to round up some customers and hawked candy on the front porch for an hour. "Ya'll want caaaaannnnndddyyy! I gawt lollipops". was his sales pitch.

Walker missed trick-or-treating on Halloween night, Miss Ginger, our bestest friend in the world arranged a private trick-or-treat night on Sunday night. Walker and Griffin boarded the golf cart and went door to door to get candy a few days late. (Thanks to the Kriners, Blounts, Fewoxes, Turners and Nana for so graciously hosting our little frog prince a few days late.)

Here are a few photos from the evening:

My two princes.

They look like five year olds. I think I am going to go cry now.

Disney Day 1: Gaylord Palms and The Monorail

We got back from Disney last week and had a WONDERFUL time! I am so sorry that I am just now posting pictures but it has taken me a full week to recover from our wonderful time. For the sake of time, I am taking Jennifer's advice and posting without captions. The pictures are worth 1000 words.

A Pirate's Life Is NOT For Me!!

It was Pirate Day at the county library this past Saturday. There were pirate hats, pirate swords, and even pirate parrots. We went to the library to celebrate Pirate Day and Walker decided "a pirate's life is Not for me." All Walker wanted to do is read books and play with the toys at the library. So instead of showing you cute pirate pictures with Kate!!, Gabe and Daydee Madeline, below you will find pictures of Walker enjoying the librarie's "Pirate-less" Day.

This is just a goofy picture of Walker with his new Oscar the Grouch hat. It is so cute. It has pom-poms on top. Of course the psycho smile is still a Walker favorite.

Happy Birthday Big Boy, Gabe!

This weekend we celebrated Baby Gabe's 1st Birthday! Now we have to call him Big Boy Gabe. It has been such an honor to watch him grow over the past year and we hope to celebrate many more birthdays with him. I have a feeling that it won't be too much longer before Walker and Gabe are good car buddies as I think they are both budding engineers.

We had a wonderful weekend but sadly, I left my camera at home charging and missed the photos but enjoyed all of the festivities. Deanna, Jon, Kate and Gabe, thanks for including us in your celebrations.

As I don't have any great photos from the weekend, I wanted to include a few photos of Gabe from this year... My, how he's grown.

Baby Gabe at Walker's 2nd birthday. (What a little fellow).

Look at how tall he' s gotten!

What a sweetie face.
