I know that we have been so blessed to have the brunt of Tropical Storm Fay spare us but after 36 hours stuck indoors with a 2 year old monkey child, we were both saying "Rain, Rain, Go Away!!" School was cancelled today so Walker and I spent the morning and afternoon trying to stave off cabin fever. We played "pudzlles", melted brain cells watching Kai Lan and baked peanut butter cookies for Daddy. Walker called them "Lucy" cookies (perhaps because Lucy Dog gobbled up all of the crumbs that hit the floor and possibly because our cookies were better fit for dog consumption... that one's still up for debate.)
Well, the ducks and the flowers are loving all of this rain and we are truly blessed that this storm did not become a hurricane. Tomorrow we are going to have to get out of the house, though...
